A sincere thanks to all of our cadets that attended the JCLC Summer camp on Fort Richardson this year. The camp was a complete success and cadets had a really great time. The bulletin board will be updated for future events by the middle of July. We look forward to another great year in 2010-2011 as the Lynx Battalion prepares for the Command Formal Inspection in November. Until next posting, have a great summer everyone, and here are some of the upcoming dates of importance that you should be aware of.
August 2010
2nd - 6th:
- School Registration
- Upperclassman Uniform Issue
- Command and Staff "Leadership Seminar Planning Week" with the SAI
12th - 14th Lynx Battalion Leadership Seminar
26th: JROTC Parent Orientation & Freshman Fun Night
28th: Lynx Battalion Annual Carwash
This year’s Leadership Seminar will be limited to 50 participants. The target audience will be potential Platoon Sergeants and above. The first 40 cadets of appropriate rank and/or potential who contact MSG Shelley and commit to attending will get their White Water Rafting trip on the Eagle River paid for free – the next 10 will have to pay $35 to participate.
